leaving Reboot

I cancelled my Reboot membership today. A difficult decision, mainly because I won't be able to follow the trials and tribulations of Greg and Deb, the only 2 faithfull contributors to the comments page. Funny, with over 80 members so few are posting anything.
I'm still not able to use my right knee for squats and lunges, so my main exercises are walking and cardio, interval cardio or just moving around.

Yesterday was mainly walking, going places and seeing friends.
First I went to a beautiful W. Eugene Smith photo exhibition. It made me want to have a dark room again, the black and white prints were stunning, nothing like the digital stuff we have to live with now.
Then dinner at a restaurant where there was a choice between a cheese fondue - sticking pieces of white bread in a cheesy substance - and steak. So I went for the steak. Stuck to water, as I already had 2 glasses of wine earlier in the afternoon, and there's a limit to over indulging.

  1. Hi Leoni - the exhibition and food sound like good fun, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Sorry to hear your knee is still not up to doing some of the exercises - I do hope you have had it looked at by a professional - it's been a while now. Well done on choosing water though - I think I would have given up at that point and had wine anyway! :o)

  2. We'll miss you too, Leoni. You've been great company on our journey.
Greg posted on reboot after you left:
"Hey Leoni, really sorry to have you disappear for a bit, (hopefully only a bit) still mildly grumpy that you're going to Oz and I'm not but that's being petty I know. I'll have to try and find your blog again, are you on facebook? Have a brilliant time and watch out for those Aussies - they're not too be trusted, as a New Zealander I know, rest up and recover - not too many barbies and bevies on the beach."
And not sure if you saw Annette's comment either
"sorry to hear you are leaving now, I had been debating as well, but I'll hang in there for a while.... Enjoy your time in Oz, have fun and relax! Keep your blog or Facebook up so that we can see which adventures you are having there. Good luck with the knee, I hope it feels much better soon, and can't wait to hear your stories! Big hug to you :-)"
